A complete guide to the on-chain solar mining simulation on Solana.
Connect your Solana wallet, buy miners (SOL) to generate hashrate, install solar panels (SOL) to generate electricity, and claim mSOLCASH rewards every epoch.
MintSolara is a fully on-chain economic simulation. Players buy miners (with SOL) that produce hashrate (MH/s) and consume electricity (kWh). Solar panels (bought with SOL) generate the electricity your miners need. Your share of mSOLCASH rewards each epoch is proportional to your hashrate vs the entire network.
Each miner has a hashrate (MH/s) and power consumption (kWh). Buy miners with SOL. Higher-tier miners are more efficient (more MH/s per kWh) but cost more and have limited supply. Use overclock (0.5 SOL) to boost a miner's hashrate by 15% for 24 hours.
Solar panels generate kWh per epoch to power your miners. Buy panels with SOL. You start with 50 kWh of base electricity. If your total generation falls below your miners' consumption, miners run at reduced efficiency. Buy more panels to keep everything running at full speed.
Every 1-minute epoch, 1,000 mSOLCASH is emitted (before halvings). Your share = your_hashrate / total_network_hashrate. A 5% utility fee is burned on every claim, creating deflationary pressure. If you have a referrer, they earn 2.5% of your net reward. mSOLCASH is earned as yield only.
Max supply: 36.5M mSOLCASH. 100% distributed through mining — zero team allocation. Base emission halves every 3,000 epochs (~50 hours at 1-min epochs). Tokens are burned through the 5% utility fee on claims. All purchases (miners, panels, overclock, farm creation) are paid in SOL.
Weather affects all solar panel output globally. Clear Skies (100%), Cloudy (60–75%), Solar Storm (150–200%), Eclipse (20%), Equinox Surge (300%). Weather events are set by the platform and change dynamically. If your panels produce less energy, some miners may go idle.
Trade miners and panels as NFTs with other players. A 5% marketplace fee applies. This enables price discovery and liquid secondary markets for all equipment.
Create or join a Solar Farm (guild) with up to 50 members. Farms combine member stats on the leaderboard. The farm owner sets a management fee (up to 20%). Creating a farm costs SOL.
